Architectural Firm Imparts Knowledge to Students

Within the framework of bridging, the gap between the academic and the practical world Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering regularly organizes lectures and seminars for its students.

One of the leading consulting firms in UAE “Heberger Abu Dhabi” which is based in Germany was invited to discuss with the students the complexity of the design process and the developing phases, rules, building codes and regulations. The various Heberger projects accomplished were also discussed from the inception and design to the execution phases.

The event also was a catylst for the students work to be presented to the experts. Their presentations and resulting feedback were interesting. Students also have had a close contact with Heberger representatives and it will assist them for future opportunities concerning engineering training courses.

It is noteworthy that the speaker is a graduate of Ajman University from the year 2004 and now a reputed member of the Heberger group. It is a pleasure to note that the Speaker is a graduate at AUST back in 2004, and now is a prominent figure in the Group.
