AUST Alumni a beacon of inspiration to the Youth of Sudan

Engineer Mohammed Osman Baloola, a graduate of Ajman University of Science & Technology and currently a teaching assistant at AUST delivered an inspiring speech to the Sudanese graduates. In a ceremony organized by the Sudanese Embassy a function was held at the National Theatre, Abu Dhabi, to honor the graduating Sudanese Student’s from all Colleges and Universities across the UAE.

The students learned the valuable lessons of serving the community and owning up to the challenges they will face in the practical world. They were also briefed about the Health Awareness campaign run by Eng. Baloola, which raises awareness for the chronic diseases. He was ranked amongst the world’s most 500 influential Arabs in 2012 and 2013 in the "scientist inventor" category for his outstanding contributions in the areas of innovation, research and community service. At 2014 he won a special award from the World Medical Council for his remarkable achievements in the medical field. Eng. Baloola received the Excellence Awards for Entrepreneurship.

His Excellency Ahmed Yousif, Ambassador, Republic of Sudan in United Arab Emirates presented a commemorative award to Eng. Baloola for his noble contributions to the world of health and remarkable social campaign that is run free of cost to promote a healthy lifestyle and decrease the chances of chronic diseases from spreading further into our society.
