Ajman University Honors “Karasi” Exhibition Participants

The College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science and Technology held a honoring ceremony to commemorate its Interior Design students who recently took part in “Karasi” Textile Art Exhibition organized last December 20-24 in the Dubai Mall’s Grand Atrium. Tribute was paid to the student participants in recognition of their outstanding performance reflected in their showcased creative, arty projects which won the admiration and applaud of a large number of the exhibition visitors.

Prof. Fahar Hayati, Dean of the Engineering College, handed out certificates of appreciation to all students, faculty and staff members who significantly contributed to the success of the event. Before that the projects which made a show in the exhibition were evaluated by a special committee formed for this purpose.

The 30 textile projects on display at the exhibition varied according to their colors, forms, material and artistic touch of their creators. The student designers expressed their deep thankfulness for this initiative and hoped that the College would continue to support its students’ projects in order to raise their confidence and encourage them to be more and more innovative.
