College of Engineering at Ajman University of Science &Technology, Fujairah Campus participated in the World Future Energy Summit 2015 which was part of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2015. It is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) is the world’s foremost event dedicated to renewable energies, energy efficiency and clean technologies.

College of Engineering represented at the exhibition was one of the few universities participating at the exhibition. The project presented by our student Ms. Mona Taher, utilizes solar energy and latest technology to provide efficient and effective means of drawing water from wells.

Ajman University represented by the College of Engineering was visited by many visitors who showed a keen interest in the disciplines offered by the University and the projects displayed by its talented students.

The exhibition witnessed an impressive turnout of many leaders in the field of renewable energy and energy future, as well as institutions working in the sectors of energy, investment, green buildings, clean transport, solar energy, wind energy, biofuels, ocean geothermal energy and waste-to-energy, fuel cells, carbon management strategy and environment policies. Along with visitors who were interested in the future of energy.
