Engineering Students from Fujairah Campus Secure Forth Position at Graphical System Design (GSD) Contest

Students from the College of Engineering at Ajman University Fujairah Campus have secured the forth position in the regional National Instruments (NI) Graphical System Design (GSD) "Musabaka 2015". NI organized the contest to encourage engineering students to design and build a complete working system that will perform various intelligent tasks for mobile, networked or stand-alone applications.

This year the contest was held on a regional level in which 63 final projects were competing from Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Cyprus, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

Ajman University team won the forth position by making used of advanced smart and mobile technologies to design "Real Time Wireless Health Monitoring Application Using Mobile Devices" it enables healthcare professionals to monitor, diagnose and advice their patients from a remote location at any time.

The achievements of the college of engineering students underpin the efforts and belief of Ajman University of Science and Technology to support innovative projects of the outstanding students and promising talent. It promotes the culture of innovation in all area of life and to translate the vision of the UAE government that 2015 is the year of innovation.
