Best Project at Middle East Electricity Exhibition Bagged by Fujairah Students

Students from the College of Engineering, at Ajman University of Science and Technology, Fujairah campus won the “Future Generation” prize in Middle East Electricity Exhibition, Dubai. Middle East Electricity Exhibition witnessed tremendous attendance by the leading companies and institutions in the energy sector.

College of Engineering participated with three projects in the field of renewable energy the winning project was "Highway Energy Harvesting" presented by students Arwa Yousf, Esraa Abdelrahman and Amina Alabdoliwon, it won amongst other ideas presented by participants. This project is a smart system that converts the wind energy, generated from the movement of the cars on the highways to an electrical energy which can be reused and utilized.

Middle East Electricity Exhibition is one of the leading exhibition in the field of energy where many regional and global companies and institutes participate. Its noteworthy that this year the number of exhibitors exceeded 1250 and more than 20,000 visitors from 114 country visited the exhibition.
